1 on 1 Japanese conversation lesson

• You can learn Japanese for free, in return you need to teach English for free.

• Our Japanese members are all native Japanese speakers and keen to learn and teach language. They like to have language exchange lessons regularly, so you can have a lot of opportunities to learn and speak Japanese.

Application

StepⅠ:Introduction

• After we receive your application, we will introduce you our Japanese members as per your requests. We have about 1000 Japanese members registered(2023/07).

• After you check the member's profile, if you like to contact the member, we will exchange your email address with the member's email address.

Step Ⅱ:Trial language exchange

• Please take a trial language exchange lesson with the members and decide to continue to do the language exchange with the members or not

• At the trial language exchange, you can talk with your language partner's candidate about how to do the language exchange lesson each other.

Step Ⅲ:Payment

Service fees

• Introduction fee is a result based fee:After the trial language exchange, we confirm with you and your language partner(Japanese member) if you will continue to do the language exchange or not. Only in case you and your language partner agree on continuing the language exchange, we will charge you the introduction fee. (You can select bank transfer or paypal. ※ If you make the payment through paypal, there's a 5% surcharge)

• If you decide not to continue the language exchange with the member, then we don't charge you the introduction fee. If you like to try the language exchange with other members, we will try to arrange other members for you.

Free Learning materials(optional)

• If you need learning materials, we recommend you our learning materials. If you like, please select 『Yes, I like』on the application form below. Then we will send you the sample page for learning materials.

• You can learn below with learning materials
• basic Japanese speaking
  We have many basic Japanese speaking questions. After completing these speaking questions, you can expect to have basic Japanese speaking skills. Let's try the questions with your language partners.
• basic Japanese knowledge and grammar
  We have many free video lessons. You can learn JLPT N5 and N4 level basic Japanese from these free video lessons.
• daily life conversation
  We have many daily life conversation topics. Let's talk with your language partners about the topics. You can expect to learn useful Japanese expressions and improve your speaking skills.
• Vocabulary
  We have a lot of online flash cards(vocabulary/sample sentences) related to daily life conversation topics.

• We will reply to you by email within 24 hours after we get your application to confirm your application. Our email(info@learning-catchball.com) is sometimes misclassified as spam. So please check the spam box when you don't get a reply from us.

• Your personal information is not open to the public.

• Please note that depending on your conditions/requests, it takes time to arrange language partners or we can not arrange language partners for you. If we judge you are less motivated to learn Japanese language, we can not provide you with our language exchange partner's introduction service.
