Language exchange lesson

1 on 1 Japanese conversation lesson

• You can learn Japanese for free, in return you need to teach your language for free.

• Our Japanese members are all native Japanese speakers and keen to learn and teach language. They like to have language exchange lessons regularly, so you can have a lot of opportunities to learn and speak Japanese.

• Please apply for a trial language exchange lesson through the application form at the bottom of this page.

• You can select language exchange lessons below. Of course you can select both lessons if you like.

• Face to face(in person) language exchange
  We have language exchange members in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba.

• Online language exchange

Which language partners do you prefer?

• You can select male or female language exchange partners.

StepⅠ:Introduction

• After we get your application, we introduce you our Japanese members in 2 ways below
  ①We search Japanese members who meet your conditions/requests and introduce you.
  ②We regularly send you update Japanese member's list and their profile. If there are any members you like to contact, please reply to us.

Step Ⅱ:Trial language exchange

• Please take a trial language exchange lesson with the members and decide to continue to do the language exchange with the members or not

• At the trial language exchange, you can talk with your language partner's candidate about how to do the language exchange lesson each other.

Step Ⅲ:Payment

Service fees

• Introduction fee is a result based fee:After the trial language exchange, we confirm with you and your language partner(Japanese member) if you will continue to do the language exchange or not. Only in case you and your language partner agree on doing the language exchange, we will charge you the introduction fee.

• If you decide not to do the language exchange with the member, then we don't charge you the introduction fee. If you like to try the language exchange with other members, we will try to arrange other members for you.

Learning / Lesson materials

• This is optional. If you need learning / lesson materials, we recommend you our learning / lesson materials below. We offer you ID and PW for these learning materials after you start the language exchange lessons with our Japanese members.

• Free video lessons
  We have 40 video lessons from beginner/JLPT N5 to JLPT N4 level.

Application form

• We will reply you by email within 24 hours after we get your application to confirm your application. Our email(info@learning-catchball.com) is sometimes misclassified as spam. So please check the spam box when you don't get a reply from us.

• Your personal information is not open to the public.

• Please note that depending on your conditions/requests, it takes time to arrange language partners or we can not arrange language partners for you. If we judge you are less motivated to learn Japanese language, we can not provide you with our language exchange partner's introduction service.

• ※Introduction fee 3000yen : Please select "I agree". You need transfer introduction fee to the Learning Catchball's bank account after you decide to do language exchange with our Japanese members. If you select "I don't agree", then we can't introduce you.
