Message from the Learning Catchball

I am Taro Koyanagi, I was a Japanese teacher at Japanese school in Tokyo and started up this service to help people to learn basic Japanese. We hope you will improve your Japanese skills through our learning Japanese service.

Let's learn JLPT, basic Japanese from online Japanese teachers!!

• Message from a Japanese teacher

I am Ayaka, I am an online Japanese teacher at the Learning Catchball. Let's learn Japanese with us. We are happy to help you to learn Japanese. I am looking forward to seeing you online.

Lesson course

• You can select a lesson course below. If you take a 30 minutes course 4 times a month, lesson fee for 1 month will be 8,000 yen( 2,000 yen × 4 lessons).

• First you can take a free trial lesson, please decide to sign up or not after the trial lesson.

Step 1 : Application

• Plesae fill out what you like to learn in the application form at the bottom of this page.

• After we receive your application, we will ask you what day of the week and what time you are available and try to arrange an online Japanese teacher as per your requests.

• You can take 1 on 1 online lessons in the time slot below

• After we arrange him/her, we will send you his/her information. If you like to try his/her trial lesson, we will exchange the email address and let him/her guide you to the trial lesson by email.

Step 2 : Free trial lesson

• He/she will offer you a free trial lesson(20 to 30 minutes) and suggest a lesson plan as per your targets to learn Japanese. If you have any questions or requests, you can ask your tutor at the free trial lesson.

Step 3 : Confirmation

• After the trial lesson, we ask you if you sign up for his/her regular lesson or not.

Step 4 : Payment(lesson fee)

• If you decide to apply for his/her regular lesson, you need to pay lesson fee to him/her(your Japanese teacher) directly. Basically you need to pay lesson fee for the next 1 month in advance.

Step 5 : Payment(introduction fee)

• We ask you to pay the introduction(matching) fee 3,000 yen (Only once payment) to the Learning Catchball.

• Only in case you decide to apply for his/her regular lesson, we will charge you the introduction fee. If you decide not to apply, you don't need to pay it.

Online JLPT N3 and N4 group class

• If you like to learn grammar, vocabulary, making sentences at JLPT N3 or N4 level and you are available on the class time below, we can guide you to a free trial lesson for online group class at JLPT N3 or N4 level.

• If you like to try, please select 『I have an interest』on the application form at the bottom of this page.

• Each course has 12 lessons a month. 1 lesson for 2,000 yen. You can decide how many lessons you will take a month. If you take 6 lessons a month, it will be 12,000 yen a month.

Learning basic Japanese materials(self-study)

• If you like to learn basic Japanese from Hiragana to JLPT N5 level, we can offer you the following learning materials for self-study. If you like to try, please select 『Yes, I like』on the application form. Then we will send you a list of the following 27 learning baic Japanese materials. First you can try 2 lessons materials for free. If you sign up for 1 on 1 online lessons, we can offer you all materials for free.

• Each lesson has 15 to 20 Japanese exercises(questions). You can check video, grammar guidance, vocabulary list before you try them.

• You can learn the following Japanese by working out basic Japanese exercises(questions). We offer you model answers for them, so you can expect to learn them by yourself.

• Please note that these learning materials are not related to 1 on 1 online Japanese lessons.

• Please note
  that depending on your conditions/requests, it takes time to arrange Japanese teachers or we can not arrange for you. If we judge you are less motivated to learn Japanese language, we can not introduce them to you.

• Introduction fee 3000yen
  Please select "I agree". If you select "I don't agree", then we can't introduce you our Japanese teachers.

• Japanese level
  If you are not sure of Hiragana and Katakana, please select 『0 level』
  If you are sure of Hiragana/Katakana, but not sure of making basic sentences in Japanese, please select 『Hiragana level』
  If you are sure of making basic sentences in Japanese, but you are not sure of Japanese basic form(Te form/Futu(plain) form), please select 『Basic sentence level』
