I am Taro Koyanagi, in charge of the Learning Catchball. I was manager at Japanese language school in Tokyo and started up 1 on 1 online Japanese lessons with certified Japanese teachers.

Free trial lesson

• Please submit the application for a free trial lesson at the bottom of this page. After we receive your application, we will arrange an online Japanese teacher and a free trial lesson for you.

• ※Textbooks fee is not included above

• You can select
  male or female Japanese teacher.
  how many lessons a month you will take
  lesson time between 7:00 and 22:00(Japan time) .

Application for a free trial lesson

StepⅠ:Application

• After we receive your application at the bottom of this page, we will ask you when you like to take the free trial lesson and introduce you online certified Japanese teacher who meets your requests.

• If you are OK with the teacher, we will exchange your email address with the teacher's email address and let the teacher guide you to the Zoom information for the trial lesson.

StepⅡ:Trial lesson

StepⅢ:Confirm

• After the free trial lesson, we will ask you if you like to apply for the teacher's regular lesson or not.

• After the free trial lesson
  If you decide to sign up for the teacher's regular lesson ⇒Please go to the Step Ⅳ and make a payment(lesson fee)
  If you decide not to sign up ⇒You don't need to pay the fees.

StepⅣ:Payment

• ※Please make a payment(lesson fee) to your online Japanese teacher. You can select bank transfer or credit card or paypal.
  ※ If you make the payment through paypal, there's a 5% surcharge

• Basically you are requested to pay tuition monthly in advance.

Speaking homework

• This is the optional. If you like to try, please select it on the application form at the bottom of this page. Then we will guide you to the free trial speaking homework. You can practice speaking Japanese when it's convenient for you(You don't need to attend the class).

• If you like to try more after the trial speaking homework, we will guide you to the regular speaking homework lesson.

• You need to send us your Japanese voice.

You can select A or B or C homework course

• A course for Hiragana to beginner level

• You can expect to learn the basics of Japanese by translating English sentences to Japanese sentences and reading them out.

• B course for basic to pre-intermediate level

• You can expect to learn basic Japanese speaking and grammar skills by making many sentences in Japanese.

• Please read your sentences out and record them. After that, please submit the voice data through the answer form.

• C course for pre-intermediate to advanced level

• You can expect to improve your Japanese speaking skills by making a speech and dialogue about various topics and scene.

• Dialogue

• Please read your dialogue out and record them. After that, please submit the voice data through the answer form. You need to keep the voice data within 30 seconds for 1 dialogue.

• B:勉強（べんきょう）しましたか
  Did you study hard?

• A:はい、でも。。どうしたらよい点数が取(と）れますか
• Yes, but... What should I do to take a good score?

  Please make a dialogue here

• Speech

• Please record your speech and submit the voice data. You need to keep the voice data within 1 minute.
